Geoffrey S. Connor, MD
"It is my philosophy to maintain or return a patient to their desired level of function and activity as quickly as possible. I
do not believe in treating a patient based solely on age, lab results, or x-rays, but rather focus on a patient's desire to
participate in sports, work, and activities of daily life regardless of chronological age. To accomplish this I work in close
coordination with the patient, staff, and therapists to define and achieve our goals."
Dr. Connor was raised in Hartsville, South Carolina and graduated Cum Laude in Biology from Wake Forest University. He received
his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery
residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He went on to complete a fellowship in orthopaedic sports surgery at the
Atlanta Sports Medicine Center where he participated in caring for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL.
Dr. Connor specializes in minimally invasive surgeries including computer assisted hip and knee joint replacement and arthroscopic
reconstruction of the knee and shoulder.
